Beautiful scenes of Tegalalang Rice Terraces
Tegalalang Rice Terraces in Ubud is one of the main tourist attractions in Bali and is famous for its beautiful scenes of rice paddies involving the subak (traditional Balinese cooperative irrigation system), located at north of Ubud, just 30 minutes drive to the north from Ubud. To get there, just go from the main Ubud art market, head east to the large statue intersection and head further up to the north.
The Tegalalang rice terraces offers a perfect Bali photo opportunity with its dramatic views and a scenic outlook that spreads down before you and away to the rice paddies on the slopes across the valley. It forms the three most splendid terraced landscapes in Ubud's shared region, with the others being in the villages of Pejeng and Campuhan. The high roadside location is cool and breezy and it is a well-known spot for tourists to stop and take photos.
Once you are at Tegalalang, you can enjoy the view from on top but it’s also possible to hike down and walk up on the other side again. I definitely would recommend hiking down. You will need anywhere between 30 minutes to 1.5-hour to explore every corner of the area. Make sure to take water and sunscreen ! The best time to go there is in the morning or in the late afternoon.
Please enjoy your stay and holiday in Bali. And if you are travelling alone to Bali and you need a young, sweet, caring, gentle and attractive guy to accompany you at your villa or homestay, or maybe to accompany you to attend some various private activities, social events, business functions, sports tournaments, work functions, weddings, dine out as well as just to provide some private company for an evening or maybe to have a private sensual massage session at your place, please don't be hesitate to contact us.
