Exotic Candlelit Dinner at Jimbaran

Image
Jimbaran is a fishing village and tourist resort in Kuta South District, Bali, located on Bali's southwestern coast of the narrow isthmus connecting the Bali mainland and the Bukit Peninsula, offers small secluded areas, where tranquility and peace are the perfect antidote to a stressful world. Jimbaran was formerly a real backwater of south Bali, just a tiny fishing village with a daily market. Jimbaran is now home to several world class 5 star beach resorts, plus a few more moderate mid-market hotels. Jimbaran has an increasing number of rather chic shops but there is little or no nightlife here. It has the advantage of being a little closer to Kuta and Seminyak and the cultural highlights of Central Bali. Nightlife is limited in Jimbaran, and most venues close after 11pm. A traditional fish market is located at the northern end of the bay right by the beach at the junction with Jalan Tukad Ayung. The catch comes in every morning here and customers include most of Bali

The temple ( pura in Balinese ) is built at the edge ( ulu ) of a 70 meter high cliff or rock ( watu ) projecting into the sea. Luhur Uluwatu temple is rich in traditional historical values. Another sage from East Java, Dang Hyang Nirartha is credited for constructing the padmasana shrines and it is said that he attained moksha here, an event called ngeluhur ("to go up") locally. This has resulted in the temple's epithet Luhur. The Uluwatu temple is inhabi

Nusa Dua Beach, Bali

Image
Nusa Dua is really about enjoying your leisure time in total luxury. Situated  40 Km from Denpasar, capital of Bali province, or some 20-30 minutes drive from the vibrant Kuta Beach, lies Bali’s most artfully designed high class beach resort along a vast stretch of picturesque coastline. The beaches in Nusa Dua are also noted to be the most secluded, being situated in a luxury enclave of five-star hotels. The beaches are definitely not to be missed and if you are already staying at a resort that has its own beach area, you can have more privacy and greater facilities for your day in the sun. The shore in Nusa Dua is mostly crowded with locals and you’ll see food vendors either walking around or stationed at their bamboo stalls. It is covered with white-golden sand and cleaner than the beaches at Kuta or Seminyak. There is also a jogging and bicycle path with an information map of the area. Tides and currents are not dangerous here but you’ll encounter stronger current
